The Helvellyn range, the Langdale Pikes and the Fairfield Horseshoe, are all within walking distance of Bridge House Hotel. Also, there are numerous low-level walks for those feeling less energetic, such as up to Alcock Tarn, or around Grasmere Lake, or along Loughrigg Terrace, or beside Rydal Water.

All hotel bedrooms at Bridge House Hotel have en-suite facilities, and all, except one, have a bath (with shower), so you can sooth your tired limbs with a relaxing soak when you come back to the hotel.
