| Here are some photographs of the helicopter lift on Silver
Howe, Grasmere in the Lake District. Huge bags of stone, tools and equipment are airlifted into
position. Imagine having to carry them up on foot! All these photographs
were taken by James Archer of the National Trust. It is difficult
photographing a rapidly moving target and the results are excellent.
